Overview
Objective:
The aim of this article is present a patient with severe immune thrombocytopenia in pregnancy.
Design:
Case report.
Setting:
Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University Hospital Olomouc, Faculty of Medicine, Palacký Univerzity Olomouc.
Case report:
Presents a patient with immune thrombocytopenia diagnosed in pregnancy. Severe thrombocytopenia was diagnosed incidentally.
Conclusion:
Severe immune thrombocytopenia is rare and substantial complication in pregnancy. In pregnancy is important cooperation between obstetritians and hematologists, in time of delivery neonatologists and anesthesiologists.
